A free hand to shape up a system - Profile: Maureen Chevrette - school superintendent - Brief Article
School Administrator, August, 2002 by Jay P. Goldman
Biggest Blooper: I had scheduled a special meeting of our advisory board at one of our elementary schools. When I arrived for the meeting, I found the entire board, several district administrators and the press standing on the sidewalk in front of the school. They were locked out of the building because I had failed to follow district procedure to reserve the meeting space.
A Reason Why I'm an AASA Member: Membership provides the very best in professional development opportunities as well as the potential for networking.
