School Administrator, Oct, 2002
Once again, AASA is partnering with the National Student/Parent Mock Election to help educators promote active participation by students in the electoral process. On November 1, 2002, students from all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and around the world will have the chance to cast their votes in the Mock Election.
The National Student/Parent Mock Election, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works closely with the nation's schools and school districts to encourage voter participation, is the nation's largest voter education project.
Over 40 million students and parents have voted since the Mock Election began in 1980. CNN Studios in Atlanta served as "National Election Headquarters" in the last two presidential election years.
