Norton has reissued a bunch of Mighty Hannibal stuff, covering 1965-1972. Hannibal was a turban-sporting soul singer who lived the life and paid his dues (and you can read about it in the extensive, autobiographical liner notes); and had a hit or two along the way. Silver-voiced and smooth, this stuff is rock solid, ranging from funky numbers to bluesy stuff, and covers life, love, drugs, and war.

Hannibal, with a nod to small labels, is promising to deliver some new material that will bum the hair off your tongue. Let's have it...
