Clusterfunk The Magazine, #1 - Zine Thing - Periodical Review

Thrasher Magazine, Nov, 2002

Awright, I am going to try to be nice here...This one's got some good stuff in it, some interesting skate photos, and whatnot, but they appear to take themselves a little too seriously, from the copyright threat on the first page onward. It's a 'zine, but they insist on calling it a "real fucking magazine." Anything xeroxed, guys, is not a real fucking magazine.

Sorry The first page is photos of all the dudes who do it, with accompanying bios. It's got an interview with a supposed supermodel that is seriously one of the most inane interviews I have ever read, and serves only to perpetuate the model-as-airhead stereotype (but I guess it fits here?). It's got some reviews and a couple rants, an especially horrible one by a guy named Harley who seems to think that expounding on well-known facts and ideas about religion is original, and makes his column "the most offensive column known to man." Well, I guess that might be true if you live in an uptight religious community. I'm sure it'll get better with age, but if you wanna check it send something to: 7419 Metcalf Suite 232, Overland Park, Kansas 66204
