Established in early 1996, Cowtown Skateboards has flourished in the Arizona desert. Presently three locations dot the greater Phoenix landscape. Each shop features all the latest goods from all the best brands. Cowtown takes pride in the past by showcasing vintage skateboards and other skateboarding memorabilia at each of their shops as well as taking pride in the present with their team. Phoenix, AZ is well known for its plethora of public skateparks, but it wasn't always like that. Some of the Cowtown crew was instrumental in getting the first public skatepark built, and even today they work tirelessly to keep the parks coming. In 2002 they initiated the Phoenix Am Contest that was a huge success and now will be annual event for amateur talent from the entire country. Cowtown Skateboards is all about skateboarding!
