Where did this come from? I have no idea, but the best guess would be somewhere in New Zealand (Wellington, perhaps?) due to the references. Despite the lack of info, it's well worth a mention. It's a mostly personal-stories-andruminations-type of 'zine, but it succeeds where so many of its ilk wallow in utter idiocy or self-absorption. The layout is true to the DIY ethos but not too busy or difficult to read, it's got a great stenciled cover, and the writing is pretty damn great: lucid, attentive, and interesting. Tales and reminiscences abound on travel, hanging out, music, exploring, vagabondage, etc. There's a tiny bit of skate stuff and very few photos, so get ready to read (it's also worth many trips to the shitter, so chalk one up for the longevity factor). Is it passe or cliche to, say, Cometbus when reviewing a 'zinc, or is that still a compliment? I guess since I'm the reviewer, I get to say; it's a pretty strong compliment. No address (maybe homeless?), hut check: Flowerpunx@hotmall.com.
