Totally harsh on your mellow chortle scene, #1

Don't ask me what chortle is, because I don't know (unless it is similar to a guffaw). This here is a great one; got something to do with them Bacon skateboards folks outta SLO. The writing is solid, and the layout is all scissors and glue, but tight. The mag starts off with an article entitled "Let's Get Neil Heddings the Fuck Out of Jail," and there's plenty of other gems as well (John Cardiel, a fire session at the Vagabond, a satanic story, commentary on the fact that Ozzy was doped up when they filmed the show, The '80s Were Hairy, and some random stuff).
