Fan fare

Thrasher Magazine, August, 2004

AFTER LOSING HIS SLOT ON BAKER, LONG BEACH MONEY-MAN Evan Hernandez got even more bad news when he learned that he was cut from the Vans program as well. Do not worry, Evan fans, he's only 18-years-young so a comeback is more than imminent. Brian Sumner shot out an email recently to let all those concerned know that Donny Barley is no longer riding for Birdhouse. Though he's been laying low as of late, the book can't be closed on the East Coast powerhouse. Speaking of East, wonder if Zoo's been talking to him?

In the deep-end department, Milwaukee's Al Partanen has signed on as Dogtown's newest pro where he'll join Patch and Pee-Wee. Big AI will continue to maintain his job as Globe's TM, however, where it seems that he gets more photos in a month than his team. Speaking of Globe, Gershon Mosely has ended his board sponsor drought and signed up with Status INC out of San Diego.
