Another small record grabbed my attention. It seems the world is in a sort of skate rock revival, as I keep seeing records with skate-related songs and covers. Chalk up Hit Me Back as one of the good ones (believe me, some have been real stinkers). They've got a classic thrashy olde-tyme sound going, almost like Excel, with a sort of posi-core 7 Seconds attitude.
