CHRIS COLE MVP
SIDELINED LAST YEAR by an injury half-way through, Chris Cole took revenge on the KOTR in 2005, easily earning MVP status with a mountain of moves that were as varied as they were ridiculous. From Sal flips over spines (which he had never even heard of before he landed one) to 20-foot frontside crooked grinds, Cole pushed the Zero team to the biggest victory margin in KOTR history. Other Cole crushers included ollieing up six stairs, nollieing up four, spinning eight 360s, wallriding eight stairs, launching the biggest half-Cab kickflip and switch 360 flip, fakie heelflipping over a spine, and pulling two of the new 100-point Fucked Up maneuvers: the switch flip wallride and the switch three-flip to crooks.
Pile a KOTR victory on top of his last part in Zero's New Blood and his mind-scrambling 360 flip at Wallenberg and you've got quite a year for the suburbs-of-Philly's finest. Thrasher and Boost Mobile are proud to make him the 2005 King of the Road MVP.
