Taking a bite out of Hollywood

After testing the waters of the pro circuit earlier this year at the New York and the Toronto Pro contests (where he placed out of the top 15), WILL HARRIS is refocusing his energies into his personal-training business (he trains clients at Gold's in Venice) and a new movie role.

You could be forgiven for assuming that the script of Awaken the Dead was written specifically for Harris, who professes a belief in vampirism and the dark side. "I play a tough-guy pimp named Grim," he says. "At the beginning, I get into some trouble and get killed, but return for vengeance later in the movie as a zombie. I appear in some really cool scenes; it's going to be great." Filming is underway, with a tentative release in spring 2006.
