With Arnold Schwarzenegger headlining, and Jesse "The Body" Ventura and Carl Weathers in supporting roles, 1987's Predator is remembered as much for its muscles as its monster. Now, action maven Robert Rodriguez (above) is planning to produce a new take on the Predator premise. Last decade, he wrote a screenplay, Predators, which, as the title suggests, had multiple aliens as opposed to the one in 1987's Predator, but it was deemed too expensive to produce.

Reports state that there will indeed be plural predators next time, but there's no word yet on whether the principal actors will again be super heavyweights.
