Sunscreen is good for more than just your skin -- your fingernails and toenails are also susceptible to several types of skin cancer, reports the Skin Cancer Foundation Journal. Look out for persistent sores beneath or around the nail, or brown or black striations on the surface. Wear polish for added protection.

Cities with a HIGH UV INDEX and low humidity -- such as DENVER and LOS ANGELES -- ravage skin, reports a Vaseline Research study. Keep skin SMOOTH with a moisturizer that contains RETINOL to slough off dry surface cells. Don't forget your SUNSCREEN, either!
