Martica K. Heaner

"Since studying the research for this article ["Timing Is Everything," page 46] I've become a little fanatical about eating often enough," says contributor Martica K. Heaner, MA, MEd. "It's just so easy to get busy and forget about lunch." Once named England's National Fitness Leader of the Year, she should know about being busy.

When she's not writing about fitness, health or nutrition for HERS (or other magazines such as Self, Glamour, and Health) the Columbia University student is researching those same topics in pursuit of her PhD in nutrition and psychology. Heaner is also the author of seven books, including Cross-Training for Dummies.
