Muscle & Fitness/Hers, Oct, 2004
Soon fall will supplant the lazy days of summer, and it'll be time to get back to your pre-summer routine. Sometimes fitness plans slide over the summer months, when the lure of vacations, social gatherings, and warmer weather is irresistible. Work schedules may even become more lax during the summer, which could contribute to a different mindset. If your regular exercise and smart eating habits have slipped over the summer, you may have gained a few pounds. Well, with the new season almost here, there's no better time to get back into your fitness routine and get a great-looking and great-feeling body.
Resume Good Eating Habits
Although you might want to hold on to summer, it's time to move on. The new college year starts, summer work hours revert to normal hours, and the weather starts to cool off. What better time for you to start working on your weight-loss goals? Part of achieving the kind of body you can feel confident in is eating right. Get back to nutritious eating by having five or six small meals throughout the day. Try to stay away from processed foods, eat enough fruits and vegetables, and make sure your cuts of meat are lean. Don't shy away from dairy. Contrary to popular belief, consuming calcium-rich dairy products can help you lose weight. The calcium in dairy is also great for your bones. However, this doesn't give you carte blanche to gorge on food like ice cream! Make sensible choices, such as low-fat plain yogurt, skim milk, and low-fat cheese.
Move That Body
Achieving the body you want doesn't stop with eating right. You also need to get that body in motion again. If you like to work out at the gym, make an effort to get there regularly again. Make time for both resistance training and cardiovascular training. Group fitness classes can motivate you, and you can agree to meet others on certain days for your exercise.
HYDROXYCUT[R] Can Help
To make the most of your fitness plan, you should try an effective weight-loss aid like HYDROXYCUT. Backed by research, HYDROXYCUT can help you get back the body you had before. And, it can help you lose 2 to 3 times the weight than with diet and exercise alone. In fact, in two 8-week studies in which all groups followed a diet and exercise plan, subjects using the primary ingredients in HYDROXYCUT (HCA extract, chromium, and Gymnema Sylvestre Extract) lost, on average, significantly more weight than subjects using a placebo (14.96 vs. 3.06 lbs. and 12.55 vs. 3.51 lbs.). Be sure to read the entire label before use and carefully follow the labeled directions.
