Mitutoyo America Corporation [Aurora, IL] has just released a CNC version of the RAH-5000 roundness fester (along with a CNC version of another tester, the RA-2000) that increases measuring throughput by using a fully automatic workpiece centering and leveling function to eliminate much of the previously required manual set-up and positioning.

The unit can fake 39 different measurements [including spirals) with a radial rotational accuracy of 0.02 4H/10000pm and an axial rotational accuracy of 0.02 6R/10000pm.
