Why you should care: This gage can measure up to five layers simultaneously on different substrates including: composites, plastic, fiberglass and metal

Pertinent Data: The handheld unit measures coatings from ceramics to waterborne paints, It can measure individual layer thickness to as low as 0.3 mil (8 microns) regardless of application method (including "wet on wet"). Measurements can be done on a single point or batch mode basis and transferred between the gage and the host computer via serial cable.
