What: Plexus MA820 methacrylate metal bonding adhesive
Why you should care: Plexus says that its MA820 has been engineered for high strength, fatigue endurance, impact resistance, and toughness on metals and other substrates including stainless steel, aluminum, thermoplastics and composites. It is specifically designed to perform best in rigorous metal bonding applications like heavy vehicle manufacturing.
Pertinent Data: Plexus MA820 is a two-part adhesive that requires no primers and little or no surface preparation on most substrates. It's a non-sagging gel which tolerates off-ratio mixing well, has a working time of 4-6 minutes, achieves 75% of ultimate strength in 30-35 minutes, and cures with no surface tack. It is supplied in cartridges, pails, and drums, and can also be applied in bulk with Plexus dispensing equipment.
