Why you should care: These connectors combine the properties of flat cables and connector pins and are designed for use where electrical connections require flexibility or where electrical components are subject to vibration.

Pertinent Data: These jumpers can be used for PCB (printed circuit board) to PCB connections, PCB to component connections or for entire cable harnesses. Sumida claims that the jumpers are more reliable and flexible than ribbon cable and that there is less chance of breaking them, making them more cost effective.
