Online retailer Amazon.com is being sued by patent company Pinpoint Inc for allegedly violating its business method patents.
Pinpoint claims in the lawsuit filed last week that Amazon infringed its personalisation technology patents that recommend products to users based on their past purchases.

The suit also names six of Amazon's affiliated retail partners, including Borders Group and Toys R Us, which use Amazon technology in their online stores.
