Penguin Press has announced the release of a new book charting the history of legendary partners in crime Bonnie and Clyde.

'Public Enemies: The True Story of Bonnie and Clyde, Machine Gun Kelly, Pretty Boy Floyd, John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Ma Barker's Gang' by Vanity Fair writer Bryan Burrough covers the history of one of the biggest crime waves in US history which led to the formation of the FBI.

Using photographs, secret FBI files, eye witness accounts and statements from the criminals themselves Burrough's unveils the mistakes made by the authorities that let outlaws like Bonnie and Clyde evade capture for so long.
