CyberSource Corporation (Nasdaq: CYBS), announced on Thursday (8 November) that it has entered into an agreement with Borders Direct LLC, the eCommerce platform of bookseller Borders Group Inc (NYSE: BGP).
Under the terms of the agreement CyberSouce will provide bank card and Bill Me Later payment processing and fraud protection services for the forthcoming Borders.com eCommerce site, which is scheduled to launch in early 2008.
Advanced processing systems will be provided by CyberSource-managed payment services to safely and securely manage payment activity throughout Borders.com's payment pipeline. Customers will be able to buy online using a number of payment types including credit and debit cards, as well as Bill Me Later.

In addition Borders has selected CyberSource Decision Manager, a fraud management portal that helps merchants automate and streamline eCommerce order screening for prompt customer service.
