Free download of Star Wars book to be offered by Del Rey

In a new promotional offer Del Rey, the science fiction and fantasy division of Random House, has announced that it is to offer Book One in the Star Wars series, Star Wars: Legacy of the Force: Betrayal, as a free downloadable PDF, audio book and e-book.

The company said that the offer is scheduled to run for two weeks from 09:00 on Tuesday 29 April until midnight on Tuesday 13 May.

The download can be shared, e-mailed or printed, and will be available at http://www.legacyoftheforce.com.

According to Starwars.com, Del Rey has partnered with booksellers including AllBooks.com, Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, Booksense.com, Borders.com and Deepdiscount.com to offer the e-book.
