Illinois scrap firm expands into badger state - Scrap Industry News - Brief Article

Recycling Today, Oct, 2003

Cleveland Corp., a scrap recycler based in Zion, Ill., has expanded north into Wisconsin with the purchase of a recycling plant in Racine.

The 50,000-square-foot ferrous and nonferrous recycling and processing operation will be completely indoors, says Cleveland Corp. President Bob Kujawinski.

The company is outfitting its Racine location with a shear, a baler and possibly an overhead magnet, Kujawinski says. He also notes that the firm recently took delivery of a 500-ton Sierra shear baler at one of its two Zion locations.
