Ronald McGrainor, senior vice president, Refco LLC, Hudson, Ohio, died in mid-September at age 70.

McGrainor had, for the past several years, hosted an annual copper industry forecast event in Cleveland. He was also a long-time member of the American Copper Council and helped establish hedging policies and procedures for the New York Mercantile Exchange. McGrainor spent parts of his career with Dean Wiffer and Merrill Lynch.

He is survived by his wife Margaret, two daughters and six grandchildren. His daughter Megan Hovey also works at Refco LLC's Hudson office.
