American Terrazzo Company, Garland, Texas, has accepted the City of Piano, Texas's challenge to use the abundance of post-consumer recycled glass from Melissa, Texas.

Currently, more than 40 tons of post-consumer glass are processed each month for the City of Piano. Trinity Waste Services and City of Piano Officials have been seeking markets for the crushed recycled glass.

American Terrazzo Company markets the recycled glass flooring under the name of EnviroGLAS Terrazzo. The flooring uses glass and colorful epoxy resins to produce variegations and qualifies for Green Building/LEEDS program.
