City Carton Recycling

Recycling Today, August, 2004

The National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) has named Chris Ookenfels of Document Destruction and Recycling Services (DDRS), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as its "Member of the Year." DDRS is a subsidiary of City Carton Recycling.

Ockenfels and DDRS have been NAID members for more than seven years. During that time, he has served on the NAID board as secretary and as a director. He was responsible for directing the development of the Complaint Resolution Council and is currently serving as chair of that council, which enforces NAID's code of ethics.

DDRS has three facilities in Iowa and provides on-site and off-site confidential material destruction of paper documents and electronic media.
