The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI) holds its annual Commodities Roundtable Forum Sept. 21-23 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, Ill.

This year's forum opens with a special session, "U.S. Manufacturing: Facts and Fiction," Tues., Sept. 21, featuring a panel representing different parts of the manufacturing spectrum exploring the short- and long-term future of U.S. manufacturing and its impact on scrap recycling.

The program continues Wednesday and Thursday. Among the speakers lined up for these sessions are:

* Michael Coslov of Tube City, West Conshohocken, Pa., and John Nolan of Steel Dynamics Inc., Butler, Ind., at the Ferrous Roundtable

* Steve Ruth of Phelps Dodge's Magnet Wire Co., Fort Wayne, Ind., and Bruce Blue of Freedom Metals, Louisville, Ky., at the Copper/Brass Roundtable

* Jim Butkus of Audubon Metals LLC, Henderson, Ky., and Lynn Brown of Hydro Aluminum North America, Baltimore, at the Aluminum Roundtable.

The Commodities Roundtable Forum will be preceded by ISRI's first Tire Recycling Business Summit Sept. 20-21, also at the Hyatt Regency O' Hare. Additional information on both programs is available at www.isri.org.
