A giant lighter craft medium, or LCM, is loaded Oct. 27 at the port of Beaumont, Texas, by the 596th Transportation Group. The vessel is one of two moved by the Military Traffic Management Command. The 135,000-pound vessels were trucked on giant trailers for 850 miles from San Pedro, Calif., before they were transshipped to Tunisia aboard the M/V Skodsberg.
