WWII Memorial article comprehensive

VFW Magazine, August, 2004 by Frank Montoya, Robert C. Nicklin

"World War II Memorial Becomes a Reality" (May) was commendable and an excellent article. It encompassed all historical aspects of the memorial: conception, planning, funding and construction. It was most informative.

Something essential is missing from the memorial! That is a plaque with the names of all servicemen who were killed during WWII. The fortunate ones among us who did return would like to see the names of our fallen comrades displayed for every American to recognize.
