Polls prove American pride

Here is a sampling of what Americans feel about their country. 67% are satisfied with "the position of the U.S. in the world today." 70% believe America has a "strong influence" on international affairs (compared to 12% in France, for example). 58% are not concerned that the Iraq War caused damage to U.S. relations with France. And 67% said they do not buy French products to begin with.
