Purple Heart recipients get stamp
VFW Magazine, August, 2003
A 37-cent stamp honoring wounded veterans was issued on May 30 at Mount Vernon, George Washington's home in Virginia. It features a photo of the Purple Heart awarded to Marine Lt. Col. James L. Fowler, wounded in Vietnam in 1968.
