Navy helicopter crash kills four

A Navy helicopter crashed on sicily Juty 16, killing all four crew members. The MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopter attached to Helicopter Combat Support Squadron 4 crashed during routine training about 10 miles southwest of its base, Naval Air Station Sigonella, near Palagonia, Sicily.

Killed were Cmdr. Kevin Bianchi, Maplewood, N.J.; Lt. Peter Ober, Jacksonville, Fla.; Aviation Structural Mechanic 1st Class Brian Gibson, Richmond, Va; and Aviation Electrician's Mate 3rd Class Sam Cox, Kansas City, Mo.

At press time, the cause of the crash was being investigated.
