Observing the Cold War

Last May, Rep. Dennis Moore (D-Kan.), in the Congressional Record, highlighted the proclamations issued by the governors of Kansas and Wisconsin declaring May 1 an annual day for observing America's victory in the Cold War. Moore is advocating a similar national day, as well as a Cold War Victory Medal to be created by executive order.
