Proud teacher and American

VFW Magazine, Dec, 2002 by Kenneth Kyzer

The October Now Hear This item on the National Education Association (NEA) prompted me to write. The NEA does not speak for all teachers. As a teacher, I know full well who the enemy is. I suspect that many in the NEA wouldn't know evidence if it barked in their face.

NEA leaders are more concerned about "political correctness" than anything else. This explains why our nation's history has been rewritten to exclude everything not "politically correct." This teacher is still proud to be an American.
