SciQuest adds reverse auction to e-procurement solution

SciQuest announced the addition of reverse auction and supplier management capabilities to Sourcing Manager, its electronic bid management solution. The new functionality allows users to conduct real-time reverse auctions--from creating, previewing, and monitoring an auction, to inviting suppliers, tabulating auction responses, and archiving them. A supplier portal is also provided which allows suppliers to manage their profiles, send messages, and view events.
