VBrick Systems offers the EtherneTV Media Distribution System, the first digital video distribution system to run on standard IP networks. It allows educators to supply classrooms on the network with on-demand programming, from one central location via standard IP networks--all without specialized networking requirements.
EtherneTV uses open MPEG standards to stream live and stored video and video-on-demand at DVD quality to any desktop connected through a standard Ethernet port. For example, a college or university can use the system to stream course lectures live, record the lectures, store them into the system, and then make them available for students to watch on their PCs at their leisure. The EtherneTV starting price is $15,000. For more details, visit www.vbrick.com.
