From FSLogic comes FSLogic Protect, software that protects and manages shared and public access Windows PCs in multiple-user environments. It is the first software that allows users to save their portable, customized Windows system settings and retrieve user data without rebooting, the company says. FSLogic Protect also eliminates the chance of system corruption and the resulting need for re-imaging and re-configuration. The software is based on "File System Layer" technology, which keeps track of an application's file system and registry footprint. These software layers can be deleted, archived, registered, and moved to other machines, without harming the Windows installation. Pricing for FSLogic Protect begins at $80.
