When it comes to handhelds, hefty price tags can be a real turnoff. That's not the case with the Axim XS, Dell's First entry in the handheld market. The Axim X5 is available in two configurations: 400Mhz processor with 64MB memory ($349), and 300Mhz processor with 32MB memory ($249). But don't let the reasonable price fool you; the Axim X5 is still packed with Features. It runs Microsoft's Pocket PC platform, and features a 3.5-inch display and an infrared port. The Axim X5 includes both CompactFlash and SD/MMC expansion slots, giving users two ways to add memory and accessories. Planned accessories include folding and snap-on keyboards, and an 802.11b wireless card. For more information, visit www.dell.com.
