Richard Hersh has been named president of Trinity College, Hartford, CT; he will take office in April. Hersh, a former president of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, is also senior adviser to the Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation Hersh: Trinity pres. and the Council for Aid to Education.

Prior to his stint at Hobart and William Smith, Hersh was a VP at the University of Oregon, and has also worked for the University of New Hampshire, Drake University, and Harvard University.
