Stop the presses - What's new: looking for higher-education and technology products and services?

University Business, March, 2003 by Nicole Rivard

Smart schools have long seen the advantages of eBooks in a mobile society. Now eBook technology is even more accessible, thanks to an education purchase program introduced by Palm Digital Media. New purchasing options are available for Palm Reader Pro, which lets students and teachers read their eBooks on the platform of their choice, and Palm eBook Studio, an authoring tool that lets users create eBooks from scratch, or cut and paste information from existing documents.

Purchasing options for Palm Reader Pro range from Individual Level (one to nine copies, $9.95 each) to School Level (25 to 249 copies, $7.95 each). Licensing options for Palm eBook Studio range from $29.95 for a single copy to $19.95 for orders of 25 or more. For more information or to order, write to education@palmdigitalmedia.com.
