IN THE NEWS: Perhaps because she never went to college, Edith Rathbun believes in the importance of higher education. A secretary for the Sun Oil Co. who has been on the job for 35 years, Rathbun donated $111,500 to the University of Toledo (OH) in late January. A scholarship fund bearing her name will be used to help nontraditional women attend the school.
