York College - Appointed And Promoted

Russell Hotzler, who has served as acting president of Queens Cortege in the City University of New York System for the past two years, is moving three miles down the road to take the president's spot at another CUNY school, York College. His success in the interim spot at Queens has earned him the unofficial title of "Mr.
Fixit" at CUNY, where he closed a $4 million deficit and improved community and alumni relations. James Muyskens steps into the president's post at Queens College after serving as CEO and dean of the faculty at Gwinnett University Center, in the University System of Georgia. He was associate provost at Queens College from '84 through '87.
