A brighter view - What's new: the latest in higher ed & technology products and services
University Business, Sept, 2003 by Audra Carbone
Besides budget, when educators think about projectors, brightness and noise reduction are key considerations. Building on the successful technology of the original bSure series of projectors, Philips Electronics has introduced two new models, the SV2 and the X62. Both projectors improve light output through a number of refinements (including new high-efficiency LCD panels), resulting in 25 percent higher light output than the previous model. The projectors boast 6,000 hours of lamp life, and low noise operation. The SV2 lists for $2,150; the XG2 for $2,795. Need more information? Head to www.education.philips.com.
