Port Hope-Cobourg and District Association for Community Living (Community Living West Northumberland). To equip meeting rooms in a facility that is used by several Port Hope and Cobourg community organizations, including those providing services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. $22,000 over six months.

Club de l'age d'or Jean-Paul II Windsor Inc. To enhance services to Franco-Ontarian seniors in the Windsor area, strengthen organizational capacity, increase membership, and purchase needed equipment. $15,700 over one year.

Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Windsor-Essex. To deliver Care For Kids workshops, an initiative that will provide parents in the Windsor-Essex area with helpful information about children's healthy sexual development. $46,000 over three years.

Jumpstart Community Partnership c/o Victorian Order of Nurses, Windsor-Essex County Branch. To enable the Jumpstart Network to support child nourishment programs in the Windsor-Essex area by developing its infrastructure and resources. $53,000 over three years.

Learning Disabilities Association of Chatham-Kent. To expand a homework club program to more rural areas of Chatham-Kent in order to better serve individuals and families with learning disabilities. $71,500 over two years.

Maidstone Recreation Centre. To upgrade the Maidstone Recreation Centre so that members of the community will continue to use the facility for social and recreational activities. $41,200 over one year.

Meals on Wheels (Chatham) Inc. $23,500 over one year. To update the office and kitchen equipment in order to increase efficiency and provide services to disadvantaged and isolated members of the Chatham community. $23,500 over one year.

North Lambton Childcare Centre. To improve outreach programs in order to better serve children and families living in rural communities. $25,000 over six months.

Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers Inc. To increase the profile of this community organization in support of its program to reduce crime in Sarnia-Lambton. $35,000 over six months.

Tri-County Literacy Network. To expand the Need to Read Festival to Windsor and Sarnia in order to increase literacy awareness throughout the region. $24,900 over one year.

Canadian Mental Health Association, Brant County Branch. To assist volunteer board members in developing a strategic plan that will allow the agency located in Brantford to respond to increasing demands for service and a rapid growth in programs. $15,200 over six months.

Building Community Capacity c/o Huron Perth Centre for Children and Youth. To enable community service providers in Huron and Perth Counties to receive group facilitation training that will strengthen their ability to serve individuals affected by abuse and mental health issues. $14,000 over six months.

Safe Communities Partners of Owen Sound and District c/o Safe Communities Foundation. To establish a strong local organization to improve the quality of life in communities throughout the Owen Sound area by educating residents of all ages how to live, work and play safely. $64,000 over three years.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel. To implement the Big Bunch Program, an initiative that gives children, waiting to be matched with a big brother or big sister, the chance to participate in recreational and cultural opportunities. $274,000 over four years.

Brampton and Area Community Foundation. $171,000 over three years to assist this community foundation in building its organizational and administrative capacity in order to provide strong support to philanthropic and volunteer initiatives in the Brampton area.

Caledon Meals on Wheels. To support a healthy eating program that enables seniors and people with disabilities in the Caledon area to remain in their own homes and live independently. $96,400 over three years.

Canadian Mental Health Association, Peel Branch. To assist the organization in determining the feasibility of undertaking a major girls fundraising strategy to support Brampton area community mental health programs. $15,000 over six months.

Canadian National Institute for the Blind, Halton/Peel District Office c/o The Canadian Institute for the Blind, Ontario Division. To assist the organization in streamlining its administrative operations in order to better serve people with low vision or who are blind in the Halton-Peel area. $20,000 over eight months.
