Adobe gives Software, support - Voluntary Sector - Adobe Systems Inc.'s offer of software donation, volunteer work for charities - Brief Article

OTTAWA -- Software maker Adobe Systems Incorporated, is offering to donate a piece of software and volunteer support to charities annually. The offer is open internationally but preferences for these donations is given to organizations in the same area as its offices (in Canada this is Toronto and Ottawa.)

The software donations will be made to organizations working in these area: primary education, arts, job skills training, disaster relief, poverty, homelessness, human rights, medical/hospice care/advocacy, technological literacy, hunger, literacy, youth, people with disabilities, environment.

In special situations, requests for more than one piece of software will be considered. However, the special requests will be limited to groups in the Ottawa area.
