Canadian National Institute for the Blind-CNIB, Simcoe/Muskoka Distriet Office c/o Canadian National Institute for the Blind Ontario Division. To recruit volunteer speakers, obtain technical aids and develop marketing/media plans that will help the organization raise awareness and increase services to people in the community who are blind or visually impaired. $90,000 over two years.

Canadian Red Cross, St. Thomas Branch. To recruit and train volunteers, increase program participation and help attract funding for the organization. These volunteers will be involved in programs which will help prevent dating violence and peer harassment in the St. Thomas and Elgin regions. $45,000 over one year.
Canadian Red Cross, Stratford/Huron-Perth, Owen Sound/Grey-Bruce Branches, c/o Canadian Red Cross Society, Ontario Zone. To work with local municipalities in two counties to develop and train a base of volunteers, who will support plans for responding to large and small disasters and emergencies. $68,700 over two years.
Catholic Family Life Centre--Simcoe South. To develop resources, materials, a fundraising strategy and support for volunteers, increasing the organization's level of service to the community and providing counselling to those who are unable to afford private services. $108,000 over five years.
Centre de sante communautaire Hamilton-Wentworth-Niagara. To develop programs, recruit volunteers and provide workshops and training. This will help raise awareness of the centre and its health-promotion and illness-prevention services to francophone youth and newcomers in the community. $23,100 over one year.
Centre for Opportunities, Respect and Empowerment. To purchase equipment and renovate the agency's kitchen in the Queen/Spadina area. This will improve the facility's efficiency and ability to provide recreational, social and employment programs to individuals with disabilities. $95,500 over one year.
Centre Francais Hamilton Inc. To repair the roof on the Centre Francais building, improving the comfort and safety of this meeting place for activities that promote French language and culture. $10,000 over six months.
Cerebral Palsy Parent Council of Toronto. To recruit volunteers, provide training and establish community partnerships in York region. This will enable people with physical and developmental disabilities to participate more fully in community life. $78,200 over one year.
