Thames Valley gets $3 million to grow

Community Action, Oct 25, 2004

LONDON -- The Thames Valley Children's Centre received $3 million in capital funding from the Ontario government to expand its facilities, Children and Youth Services Minister Marie Bountrogianni announced.

The centre, which provides treatment and services to children with physical and developmental disabilities will add another floor to its building, bringing together all the staff and programs under one roof.

"We're pleased to see the government recognizes the need to support children and youth with special needs and their families in this community," said James Bennett, the Thames Valley Children's Centre board chair. "This is good news for our children and families and good news for this region."
