For You Telecare Family Service Inc. To provide volunteer training and development in order to enhance telephone counselling and support services to individuals and families in need. $60,000 over two years.
The Hannon-Shields Centre for Leadership and Peace. To provide administrative support that will ensure the continued growth of the Children's Peace Theatre Program. $195,000 over three years.
Harmony Place Support Services. To purchase a wheelchair accessible bus enabling adults with physical and developmental disabilities to get to outside appointments and participate in social and recreational activities. $75,800
Hassle Free Clinic. To make renovations to this community facility, including installing a lift that will make services accessible to people with limited mobility. $62,300
Hong Fook Mental Health Association. To expand its volunteer program, enhance services and build community capacity in order to better serve Torontonians who speak Cambodian, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Korean and Vietnamese. $219,000 over three years.
Hope for Children Foundation. To install air conditioning units in nine Toronto foster care facilities serving children and young adolescents. $100,000 over 10 months.
Margaret M. Allemang Centre for the History of Nursing. To archive and catalogue the holdings of the centre in order to make the information more accessible to the public. $6,100 over one year.
Native Men's Residence. To develop and implement an integrated, holistic program of specific intervention activities and services to address the issues faced by homeless aboriginal youth in Toronto. $180,000 over three years.
Ontario Wheelchair Sports Association. To launch Bridging the Gap, an initiative to foster inclusive sports and recreational programs that welcome and actively recruit Torontonians with disabilities. $138,900, over two years.
The Philip Aziz Centre. To raise awareness and increase access to in-home hospice services by strengthening the organization's volunteer base through enhanced recruitment, screening and training. $71,000 over three years.
Regent Park School of Music. To provide after-school music lessons for children and youth in Regent Park and develop a sustainable operating model for the organization. $25,000 over one year.
