Whitefish River First Nation. To construct a softball field as a means to increase physical activity and improve the health of residents of this First Nation community. $75,000 over one year.

Big Sisters Association of North Bay and District. To attract new volunteers and renovate the premises, making them safer and more accessible for volunteers and Little Sisters to gather and participate in a variety of programs and activities. $39,900 over one year.

Club de l'age d'or de Field. To carry out renovations to the organization's newly acquired facility, making it an accessible community space for seniors to gather, socialize and engage. $24,500 over one year.

Dokis First Nation. To carry out renovations to the library, making it a more fully accessible, safer and well-insulated community space for all residents to enjoy. $14,400 over one year.

Dwight Lakeview Seniors Association. To renovate the organization's kitchen facilities, making the centre more accessible for members and the community at large to gather and use for recreation. $48,000 over one year.

Scouts Canada, 1st Gravenhurst c/o Boy Scouts of Canada. For equipment upgrades and repairs to the Gravenhurst Scout Hall, improving energy efficiency and making it a cleaner, more accessible community space for all participants. $27,700 over one year.

The Antipoverty Project. To launch the Technical Mentoring Project. This technology project for social-housing residents in Ottawa encourages the gaining of employment/experience in high-tech industries through on-site technical services and activities. $45,000 over one year.

A Post Psychiatric Leisure Experience. To launch a consumer-operated thrift shop, which will provide employment training and give Ottawa-area members with privities offered by this Ottawa organization. $59,000 over two years.

Aphasia Centre of Ottawa. To allow the organization to more effectively respond to a growing demand for services. Administrative structures will based on tools relative to interests and user habits. $96,000 over two years.

Centre haltien des carrieres et des emplois. To provide job training to Francophone ethno-cultural youth in the Ottawa area so they can find and retain employment. $12,000 over one year.

EnviroCentre. To help low-income households in Ottawa benefit from cost-effective, energy-efficiency upgrades. Experienced technicians will make service calls, install needed devices and teach energy-saving strategies. $114,900 over three years.

Families CAN c/o Tri-County Literacy Council of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry. To expand Families CAN, an in-home early-years literacy program, in Akwesasne and throughout the counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, and Prescott-Russell. $129,500 over three years.

Family and Children's Services of Renfrew County. To allow children at risk to have greater access to various early-education and social development programs deemed to have a significant and positive impact on their future development. $84,000 over two years.

Groupe action pour l'enfant, la famille et la communaute de Prescott-Russell. To revise and expand En route vers l'ecole/Off to School We Go, which will be offered in both French and English schools throughout Prescott-Russell to serve more local communities. $53,000 over two years.

Groupe Convex Prescott-Russell. To allow the organization to share its expertise in social enterprise development by training and mentoring other locals. $130,000 over two years.

Literacy Plus. To design and print promotional materials and purchase related equipment, in order to increase the organization's capacity to raise funds by seeking corporate sponsorships in Renfrew County and beyond. $8,800 over six months.

Lowertown East Safety Committee of Ottawa a/s Centre de ressources communautaires de la Basse-Ville. To support local efforts to implement the No Communities Left Behind program, a community safety initiative. $36,000 over one year.

Nepeau Housing Corporation. To increase access to programs and services for residents of the area's social housing projects. Community members will be engaged to address pressing social issues that affect the quality of life in their neighbourhood. $43,700 over one year.

Ottawa Network for Borderline Personality Disorder. To translate the Family Connections Program manual and brochure so that the program can be offered to help Francophone family members effectively cope with borderline personality disorder. $2,800 over one year.

Overbrook-Forbes Community Resource Centre. To renovate space that the Emergency Food Bank Program and the Youth Drop-In Centre programs will share, which will improve the efficiency of the food bank and help expand current youth centre programs in East Ottawa. $75,000 over six months.

Pinecrest-Queensway Health and Community Services. To support the implementation of the Pathways to Education program in six social-housing neighbourhoods in Ottawa, which will help to improve academic retention, attainment and success for high-school students at risk. $135,000 over two years.
